How Namaa Clinics collects, uses and protects your personal information — in plain language.

01Who we are

This website is operated by Namaa Clinics, 4th Floor, Sea Pearl, 535/A S.V. Patel Road, Girgaum Chowpatty, opp. Sukh Sagar, Mumbai 400007 (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or visit the clinic, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

We handle your information in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them.

02Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request an appointment or send an enquiry, we collect:

  • your name and mobile number, and your email address if you provide it;
  • the treatment you are interested in, your preferred date and time, and any note you add;
  • any offer code you unlocked on this website.

Health information. At the clinic, your doctor will record your medical history, skin and hair assessments, treatment notes and — only with your consent — clinical photographs. Please do not share detailed medical information through the website booking form; we will ask for what we need during your consultation.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running properly.

03How we use it

  • to respond to your request and confirm, reschedule or remind you of appointments;
  • to provide consultations and treatments, and to keep the medical records the law requires;
  • to apply offers you have claimed;
  • to answer your questions and follow up on your care;
  • to send you news and offers — only if you have agreed, and you can opt out at any time;
  • to keep this website secure and prevent misuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for any purpose you would not reasonably expect.

04WhatsApp bookings

When you submit the booking form, we save your request and open WhatsApp with a pre-filled message to our team. Messages you send through WhatsApp are also handled by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms), under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. If you prefer not to use WhatsApp, please call us instead.

05Who we share it with

Your information is seen only by the clinic staff who need it to look after you. We share it outside the clinic only:

  • with trusted service providers who help us run the clinic and this website (for example hosting and messaging), under obligations of confidentiality;
  • with laboratories or other medical professionals involved in your care, with your knowledge;
  • where the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our patients, staff or the public.

06Cookies & third-party content

This website uses a small number of essential cookies to keep the site secure (for example, to protect forms from misuse). It also stores a note in your browser so the opening animation is not replayed on every page. We do not use advertising cookies.

Some content is loaded from other services: fonts from Google Fonts, images from Unsplash, and videos from YouTube (using its privacy-enhanced mode). These services may receive your IP address when they deliver that content, under their own privacy policies.

07How long we keep it

We keep appointment requests and enquiries for as long as we need them to look after you and for our legitimate records. Medical records are kept for the period required by applicable medical and legal regulations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it securely.

08How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and access within the clinic is limited to people who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our safeguards regularly.

09Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • delete information we no longer need to keep (medical records may have to be retained by law);
  • withdraw your consent to marketing messages or other optional uses;
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.

10Children

This website is not directed at children. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to book on your behalf. Treatment of minors takes place only with the consent of, and usually in the presence of, a parent or guardian.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
